Register to bid
Registration is handled on the Abell bidding platform. Known clients are cleared automatically; new bidders are usually approved the same business day.
Registering takes a couple of minutes and only has to be done once. Every registration is reviewed by the Abell office rather than approved automatically, so allow a little time before a sale you intend to bid in.
Create your account
You will be asked for your name, email, a telephone number and a billing address. If you are buying for resale, have your resale permit number to hand.
Register for the specific sale
Each auction takes its own registration. Known clients are cleared automatically; new bidders are usually approved the same business day.
Accept the terms
You will be asked to accept the Buyer's Agreement, which sets out the buyer's premium of 27%, the additional 5% for bids placed through an alternative platform, and the payment and collection deadlines.
