How to Buy at Auction ?
No matter if you are beginning a collection, choosing a piece of jewelry, or decorating your home, you will find something perfect to suit your taste, interest, and budget at Abell. Buying with us is easy! Follow the steps below.
Register
Register Online
Please click on the Login button on the upper right corner of our website. You will need to create a username and a password. A confirmation link may be sent to your email, please check your spam folder as well. Once you have created your login, please register for the auction you wish to bid by clicking on the link to the auction and then clicking the registration button. All registrations will be approved directly by Abell Auction. Please call us in the office if you have any questions. 310.858.3073
Bid by Phone
To place a bid by telephone or submit a direct absentee bid, please contact one of our knowledgeable associates at our office at 310.858.3073. Our team will be happy to assist you and ensure your bidding arrangements are handled smoothly and confidentially.
How to Bid
Online Bidding
We offer live online bidding for all auctions. To participate, please use the login link in the upper right corner to create a username and password in advance of the sale. A 25% buyer’s premium will be applied to all online purchases.
Absentee Bidding
Absentee bidding is available for all auctions. Bids may be submitted in person or by contacting one of our representatives, who will be happy to assist you with the process.
Viewing
In-Person Preview
Catalogs are posted on our website at least a week prior to the date of sale.
After the Auction
Payment
Payment and pickup is due within seven days past the date of purchase. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Please call our office at 310.858.3073 to make a payment today.
Buyers Premium
A buyer’s premium of 25 percent is applied to all purchases.
Pick Up & Shipping
Abell does not ship any merchandise directly. However, we can refer you to one of our vetted outside contractors. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm PST. for all pickups at our 2613 Yates Avenue, Los Angeles, Ca 90040 location. For shipping, The “Preferred Shipper’s List” can be found under Buy & Sell. If you have any questions about picking up your items, please contact the inventory manager, Kyle Stoner at 310.858.3073.
