A native Angeleno, Jerry Winick has spent his life immersed in the language of form, material, and craft. From an early age, his passion for creating was matched by a natural skill in working with his hands—qualities that would go on to define his multifaceted career as a designer, sculptor, and artist.
Originally drawn to architecture, Jerry’s refined sense of structure and proportion became the foundation of his work. His path shifted toward the more intimate and tactile world of custom furniture, where he established his studio, serving a discerning clientele. His sleek, modern designs were not only sought after in Los Angeles but also carried by high-end showrooms in San Francisco, San Diego, Florida, and Arizona, earning features in numerous design publications.
Never one to limit his creative exploration, Jerry began painting under the mentorship of Monique Badeaux. His architectural sensibilities—precision, balance, and clarity of line—translated seamlessly into other mediums, leading him to develop bold steel sculptures that fused industrial strength with refined elegance. His curiosity extended into fine jewelry, where he crafted works in gold and precious stones, demonstrating his ability to scale his vision from monumental to intimate.
