More than 200 pairs of deadstock, limited-edition and collaboration sneakers will be sold at live auction.

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Are you a sneakerhead or a fashion seeker? Get in the game at Abell Auction Company’s sale of 200-plus pairs of rare, limited-edition sneakers on Sept. 12 in Los Angeles. Starting at 10 a.m., in-person and online bidders will compete live for sneakers from the largest private collection ever to hit the auction block.

Highlighted sneakers include the original Nike Tom Sachs x Mars Yard, designed by a NASA engineer and tested to thrive on the rugged terrain of Mars; the Nike Air Max Lunar90 SP Moon Landing, commemorating the 45th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s walk on the moon; the extremely limited-edition Undefeated x PUMA 24K Mid Gold Mirror, inspired by championship basketball teams; and the Adidas ZX 800 ACU, coinciding with the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Also up for auction are three pairs of rare Air Yeezys, the shoe which Kanye West designed with Nike before a dramatic falling-out led him to partner with Adidas instead. Collab sneakers with Undefeated, Maharam, Jeremy Scott, Mastermind and Star Wars also will be featured, plus other iconic designs by Asics, New Balance, Adidas, Vans, Visvim and Converse.

A pop-up preview will be held Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 1-3) at 1306 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice, Calif. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

A second preview will take place September 6-9 and September 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Abell Auction Company, 2613 Yates Ave., Los Angeles, 90040.

Live bids will be accepted online or in-person at the Abell gallery (2613 Yates Ave.) starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 12. The sneakers range in value from $50 to $2,500 and will be sold at no reserve.
