Abell Auction Co. Plans Diverse Sale On Oct. 18

COMMERCE, CALIF. — Abell Auction Co. will conduct an auction on Sunday, October 18, at 10 am PDT. The sale features property from prominent California estates and will be highlighted by a collection of Sam Maloof furniture, being sold on behalf of the Huntington Museum. Funds will benefit art acquisitions at the Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens in Lynn Altman’s honor. The Maloof collection includes a set of 12 dining chairs, a walnut dining table, a club chair and ottoman, a walnut pedestal table, a pair of walnut end tables, a walnut game table and a walnut threepiece buffet.
