
Barry Abell represents the third generation of the Abell family; he is the grandson of founder A.N. Abell and the son of Robert Abell. Raised in Westwood, he attended University High School and Valley College. Having grown up in the family business, Barry has worked at Abell Auction Co. since 1969. He and his family currently reside in Pasadena. Barry has devoted countless hours to non-profit organizations on behalf of children’s heath and education. barry@abell.com 
Don Schireson is the second generation of his family working at Abell Auction Co. He began working with his father Willard Schireson in 1977. Don grew up and currently resides in Brentwood and attended University High School and the University of Oregon. Don has volunteered his time and auction experience for many local charities including the American Cancer Society, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association. don@abell.com  
Howard Zellman began his career at Abell in 1973. Raised in Pasadena and the Hollywood Hills, he attended Hollywood High School and the University of Oregon. Howard began working with his uncle Willard Schireson at Abell in 1973. After working as a Senior Vice President at William Doyle Galleries in New York, Howard returned to Los Angeles in 1986. He has been a member of the Appraisers Association of America since 1976 and currently resides in Burbank. Joe Baratta started at Abell in 2001; he grew up in Pasadena and attended Loyola High School. Joe has a B.A. in art history from Boston College and a certification in Appraisal Studies from New York University. Joe is a member of the Appraisers Association of America, the Southern California Trust Officers Association, and the Decorative Arts & Design Council at LACMA. Joe currently resides in Los Feliz and has volunteered his time and auction experience to many non-profit organizations; he currently serves on the Junior Advisory Board for Catholic Big Brothers & Sisters, Los Angeles. joe@abell.com  
Sean Abell represents the fourth generation of the Abell Family. He is the son of Barry Abell, grandson of Robert Abell and great grandson of A.N. Growing up in the family business, Sean has come to know and love the auction. In 2004, Sean was given the chance to start auctioning and has never looked back. Born and raised in the city of Pasadena, Sean attended Loyola High School in Los Angeles and Glendale City College. sean@abell.com 
Todd Schireson represents the third generation of his family here at the Abell Auction Company. He attended Brentwood High School and graduated with a BA in Business/Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara. Todd currently lives in the Santa Monica/Venice area where he can be found alongside the beach when he isn't auctioning or picking up merchandise. todd@abell.com 
Kathi Rothner brings almost 30 years of loyal service to Abell, where she enthusiastically shares her expertise of fine appointments, particularly jewelry. She has received various awards for her community service including the PTA’s prestigious Golden Oak Award, for her significant contributions to the welfare of children and the youth. Kathi currently resides in Los Angeles and devotes her time advocating for her local community parks, healthy living and recreational services. kathipr@aol.com
